What each type of information means

Documented specification

A specification for an exact model, with a source and recording date. We only consider a page reviewed after editorial verification; a source does not prove the identity of your physical component.

Engine result

A deterministic, versioned rule with evidence, confidence, severity and next step. One approved dimension does not approve the whole configuration; unknown BIOS may require an additional condition.

User report

Experience reported by the owner. It does not become a benchmark, manufacturer specification or universal confirmation.

Reproducible measurement

This would require a method, full configuration, versions and date. Current comparisons do not include our own performance tests.

Verified offer

Requires an authorized source, seller, condition, currency, timestamp and validity. An imported listing or user-provided price does not automatically meet these criteria.

Review and changes

The editorial team checks the variant, sources, conditions and usefulness before allowing a technical page to be indexed. AI-assisted content is identified. A version of the evidence is preserved for each approved publication.

Changes to data or rules suspend eligibility until another review. Editorial review expires after 90 days. This is a review schedule, not a guarantee that external documentation will stay the same. Offers follow their own validity and stop displaying expired prices.

Found an error?

On a component page, use “Report an incorrect component or specification” and provide the field and a public source. The request enters the administration queue; the change requires review. Do not include serial numbers, receipts or personal data.
